Halloween Bowl and New Etsy Store!

Today I will list my vintage inspired hand painted Halloween Bowl.  I had so much fun painting this bowl and really like how it turned out.  It has the scary black cat in the center encircled by flying bats.  The bowl then has a band of stars, pumpkins and skulls……

Also, new for Ardoria Studios, we have created an Etsy Store.  I really love that everything on Etsy is handmade and not made in China items.  There is so much to see on Etsy and now there is our store too.  I am going to list the Skull Clock on Etsy today and also some of Brandon’s Nutcrackers.  Stop by and check it out.

It’s going to be a busy week.  It is the last week of summer vacation and there are things our son wants to do before he goes back to school.  We will be trying to jam them in this week and go and have some last minute summer fun!

Quick Update and A Giveaway Link

I was checking out my favorite art blogs today and the King of Mice Studios is having a giveaway of this adorable box…..

Brandon is back to work after a week off.  We had awesome weather the week he was off it was the only time all summer it got hot!  We didn’t go anywhere to far from home but we did go to the Pittsburgh Zoo for a day trip.  There we got to see an elephant baby and a sea lion baby too….

A Trip To The Zoo!

The son and I took a trip to the Akron Zoo today.  We have been looking forward to going all summer and finally made it.  We were excited to see the jaguar cubs.

It was crazy trying to get to see the cubs.  I think everyone at the zoo was there just to see them and that is where they all were.  We finally got in close enough to get a good view of them and it was worth it.

Every time we go to the Akron Zoo we have to get a picture of the llamas because they always make us laugh….

We really like the Akron Zoo.  Brandon and I grew up in Northeast Ohio and had never been there up until a couple years ago and it is a really nice zoo.  It’s not huge but they do a very nice job with their exhibits and have a good variety of animals.  It makes a nice day trip.
